Information about the Artist and this Series

A Short Bio

I was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to Canada in 2000. I currently live in Vancouver, British Columbia.
My academic background is in Literature and visual arts/multimedia. I started taking pictures with my father's 35mm Minolta Camera when I was very young and ever since developed a passion for photography and visual arts in general. I work as part of an I.T. team with a company in Richmond, BC.

About this project

I have experimented with abstract photography for the past few years and the photographs here are the result of a developing process of back light technic and the use of various liquids and colors, mostly ink. I try to emphasis on the graphical flow and smoothness of form in this series, the ever changing shapes and transition beyond simple geometrical forms. these photographs are meant to be printed on glossy paper with a approximate size of 20" in width and framed usuing a minimal design.
